Cara (Ziruo) Wang is an illustrator and designer who is initially from China, currently pursuing an BFA Illustration degree at Rhode Island School of Design.
Cara enjoys engaging with different media to tell stories that are rustic and full of feelings. She particularly loves strolling through the city, observing people going about their days. Inspired by bustling crowds, delicious meals, cats and dogs, neighborhoods with candy-colored houses, and plants whispering in the evening breeze, her work celebrates lights, cultures, and all the many hearts we hold inside our own.
Cara has collaborated with Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Tomorrow Publishing House, Steel Rolling Pictures, Brown Political Review, RISD Volume 1, Philips, Alibaba, Tianmao, DIMO Music Studio, and Shanghai M&G Stationery Inc.
